My story
Janina is a passionate musician and originally comes from Passau, but now lives in Regensburg. She has been playing the violin since she was eight years old and also taught herself to sing and play the guitar many years ago. She wrote her first song at the age of eleven.
At school, she was greatly influenced by classical music besides listening to rock and metal herself a lot. Among other things, her participation in various orchestras influenced her music as it is today more than she would have acknowledged at the time.
From 2018 to 2023, she was the singer, violinist, songwriter, and second guitarist for the rock band “Breaking Three,” which she co-founded.
From 2019 to 2022, she was the violinist for the prog metal instrumental band “Black Orbit.”
2021 marked the start of her solo project JAÎSA. Because during the pandemic, it was hard to meet with band colleagues, and with music as her outlet for negative feelings and thoughts, she started to write songs that deal with topics that move her deeply and allow her to fully express herself artistically.
Since her debut single “Lost My Mind” in 2021, several more singles and collabs have followed, which are available on all streaming platforms.
On March 15, 2024, she released her debut EP “WITHERED ROSES“ which not only aesthetically, with her trademark of withered roses, but also in terms of content, dealt extensively with the theme of transience.
Her second EP „FOREVER AND IN DEATH“ will be released on the 27th of February 2026 digitally and physically on CD (see Shop). These six songs tell JAÎSA’s most heartbreaking and harrowing stories to date about love, death, and everything in between.
